Sgt Butter Shrimp Scampi

This buttery delicious recipe will be a go-to dish for any romantic occasion. We use our Sgt Butter Elite BBQ Rub for the seasonings and the decadent flavors of butter, garlic, and onion really shine through.

1 lb large shrimp,
peeled and deveined
8 oz linguine or spaghetti
4 Tbsp butter, divided
½ tsp red pepper flakes
(optional, for some heat)
¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp Sgt Butter Elite BBQ Rub
¼ cup dry white wine (optional)
2 tsp lemon juice
Grated Parmesan cheese
for garnish

Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set

In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat.
Add Sgt Butter and red pepper flakes (if using) to the skillet. Sauté
for about 1 minute until the garlic becomes fragrant. Add the shrimp
to the skillet and cook until they turn pink, about 2-3 minutes per
side. Season the shrimp with salt and black pepper to taste. If using
white wine, pour it into the skillet and let it simmer for 2 minutes to
reduce slightly. Stir in the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter and
lemon juice. Cook for an additional 2 minutes, allowing the flavors
to meld.

Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing everything together to
coat the pasta in the flavorful sauce. Sprinkle chopped parsley over
the shrimp and pasta, and toss again. Serve the Sgt Butter Shrimp
Scampi hot, garnished with grated Parmesan cheese.
